Oh, hello there!  Greetings from our Magic Treehouse family!  It's been quite the start to the World Race for us and we have enjoyed our time in Central America!  In just over two weeks, we will be heading on to... VIETNAM!!!  But, let's not get ahead of ourselves.  Instead, to celebrate the holiday season, let's have a bit of fun!  Shall we?

We as Team Magic Treehouse had a bit of family fun and, seeing as we won't be seeing our actual families for Christmas and New Years, we decided to create a little family of our own!

Meet the Magicians!

Obviously, laying across our laps in the family portrait, is Meagan!  Now, you see, Meagan is the festive aunt that you definitely want at all your events.  She might even attend when it's unexpected (but you absolutely want her there even if she didn't make the guest list)!  She cheers the loudest ("Where's Aunt Meagan?" *hears a shout from the back* "Oh! There she is!") and she definitely makes all your friends jealous because they wish they had an aunt like that.

First on the left is Emjay!  She's your best friend.  She might as well be part of the fam because she is over at your house more often than not.  Everyone includes her in the family-only holiday planning.  You’re pretty sure she must be a relative because when the invites go out her name is always mentioned somewhere and it's just a given that she must attend.  Even the second-cousins know who she is!

Next to Emjay is Summer!  Summer is the cool mom who has all the amazing treats for all your friends as they come in.  She collects cats, nutcrackers, and surfboards.  Everyone feels at home with her around and they might as well be because she sends them all home with holiday treats.  She’s always in touch with “what’s in” for the kids and is never an embarrassment to any of her children.  They kind of show her off…

Then there’s Hannah!  When it comes time for presents, you can’t wait to open your cousin’s present.  Hannah’s the cousin who has just returned from a Thanksgiving trip abroad and leaves right after the family festivities for a Christmas Alaskan cruise.  She gives gifts to everyone from her travels and always asks what you want from every country she goes to.
