God, you have made people your children who were not a part of your family.  I am one of them.  Lord, help me see people as your children.  Help my mind to not see the barriers, but to see the freedom given to us by bearing your name.  Remind me to love despite all the distracting judgments I make when I'm too lofty to see that I was once outside of your family, too.  Holy Spirit, my eyes are deceivers; show me the truth.  Your mercy extends farther than mine and your love is not conditional.
